1 | Correct typo error "does" to "dies" | Heb 12:1 | Faithema | 50877 | ||
If a loved one does, and we know that he was b saved and is with the Lord Jesus in heaven, will God allow our loved one to see us at any point in time, even if we don't see this person? Does our loved one pray in heaven for us, even though we don't pray for him/her? Since Jesus Christ is the only mediator, can I ask the Spirit of God to take a message to my dad - to tell my dad how much I love him? |

Greetings Faithema! Welcome to the Forum. I am sorry for the loss of your father. There is great comfort in KNOWING that the ones we love are in Heaven. Peter Marshall said, "Those we love are with the Lord. If they are with HIM and HE is with us, they cannot be far away!" This verse in Hebrews suggests that those who have gone before us are a witness of God's activity in the lives of His children who remain on the earth. The only one necessary in Heaven to pray for you is Jesus - He is all you need! There is no human love that can compare to the love of Jesus that surrounds your Dad and you today. The love of the Lord binds your hearts together - your Dad knows through Jesus what REAL love is! May the love of Jesus comfort you today! Blessings! Mommapbs |
