First of all most slaves could not read so how would they have read this passage, secondly are you saying that because this is in the bible that slavery was right??? I am all for the Bible but I don't say that slavery was right. I am however glad that it happened because now Gods plans will come into action. | ||||||

Hello Doc, well I thought that was what he was referring too. I just posted and stated that I didn't think that Paul was referring to that kind of slave and I could be wrong, but slaves back in times of slavery could not read, most of them anyway, that was the way the slave massas kept them from finding out what their rights were so to speak, to keep them ignorant and uneducated. | ||||||
