Luke 10:18, Does anyone know what this means? I've noticed the Old Testament is slightly different in that good behavior (following the Lord) is rewarded and bad behavior is punished (idolatry, etc). In the NT however, Jesus says that we will find persecution if we follow him, and certainly the examples of the apostles show this is true. I'm wondering if Satan falling to earth happened around the time of Jesus, and hence the change in logic. What do you think? | ||||||

Persecution is not punishment. Persecution that results from following Christ and punishment for disobeying God are two entirely different things. --Radioman2 |
