1 | Is to lay in bed with another a sin? | 2 Tim 2:22 | ydolomite | 59550
I'm knew in this walk with Christ and I hope that this isn't a dumb question. But I know that fornicating is a sin. But I here some people discussing how they may sleep together in the same bed and not do anything. Is there a scripture in the Bible that I can refer to, to answer this question?

Scripture ... Phi 4:8, 1 The 5:22, Heb 13:4 ... ydolomite, greetings. Here are some verses. Kalos is right that people what to use loopholes ... some even to the point saying that if there is no intercourse, it is fine. However, we always need to do whatever is pure, to avoid the appearance of evil and keep the marriage bed pure. Sleeping, with no sex, in the same bed, or even an overnight, in separate rooms, I think violates Scripture. My dad had a great rule "Looky, talky, no touchy" ... it is because touching can cause arousal in one or both, or even fantasy. Wait until the wedding night ... it will be very special. Hope this helps, Searcher |
