EdB; yes many once solid Bible colleges and seminaries have fallen away from their first LOVE. The Seminary my wife and I went to , I graduated in 1989, is now one I can no longer support. This is heart braking. But this is also true for once solidly Biblically based Churches sad to say. I wonder if the falling away we see is not a strong indicator of Jesus return. I feel more in line with Historical Premillennialism. But time will tell if I live long enough. Blessings Ed. justem |

Greeting and Blessings to you Justme I don't know if this falling away is a strong indicator or not. While it is almost unimaginable for us as Christians to witness, man’s relationship with God has been worst. If we go back to the time of Jesus and look at the Jews and their relationship with God we see they really did not hold God as a deity to be worshipped but rather worshipped the law the Pharisees laid out for them if they worshipped at all. Then only a few years later many had converted to almost paganism seeking fulfillment in Gladiator fights and slaughter of Christians. While many hold Abortion is just another form of paganism (tossing children to lions versus torn apart at the hands of a doctor) it has been going on for over 30 years now. I believe these are indicators I don’t think they enable us to commit to a time range. We must be constantly ready and always listening for the trumpet blast and command to come up here! |
