2 | Elders and deacons, etc | 1 Tim 3:12 | Searcher56 | 53577 | ||
Scripture ... Acts 6:1-6, 1 Tim 3:8-13 ... Greetings goldenc1, You first question has been discussed before. Some believe that deacons must be married and have children, and manage them well ... plus meet the whole list (1 Tim 3:8-13). Others say those without children aren't DQed. Question two is also subject to the church. Some cite Acts 6:1-6 saying deacons should lead each minstry. Searcher |
