Dear aduvukace, Greetings in the name of Jesus! Inasmuch as the world's view of dating/going steady is pretty much linked to having a sexual relationship, or at least private physical contact, I would say that it is better to abstain. Especially if, as your post seems to say, it is a relationship between a born-again Christian and a non-Christian. Even among two Christians, you (they) walk a tightrope of temptation with a huge chasm of potential problems with the slightest misstep! "For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God;" 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 NASB.
