1 | where do people go when they die | 1 Thess 4:16 | punkiedo | 112276
Luke 16:20-31 Talks about Lazarus and the rich man and it says that when Lazarus died he was "carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom" KJV However the rich man went to Hell. Now this is my opinion if you guys dissagree just remember this is just my opinion, and I have a right to be wrong. I think that when a child of God dies the soul goes automatically to heaven or hell. Then at the last trump where it talks about the dead in Christ shall rise first the body will be glorified and the soul will meet with the body. then the people that are alive and remain will be caught up to meet him in the air. (1Thessalonians 4:16) But to be honest with you, I don't really care how it happens just as long as I go!!!! The people in hell and the people that have not died yet that didn't get raptured will be judged at the final judgement. |

3 | where do people go when they die | 1 Thess 4:16 | punkiedo | 112333
His physical body turned to dust, not his soul. Your soul is invisible so it cannot return to dust because it never was dust. We have a soul because God breathed the breath of life into us, we are the only creature he did that for. So in essence we are a part of him. Our soul. That is why people who are not in the church feel like there is that empty place or that something is missing from their lives. Because their soul is empty sort of speak. When Jesus comes in your soul is full. Full of Jesus. That is also why there is an outward change and people notice. When you go from being just the everyday average sinner to living a holy lifestyle, people see it. And believe it or not they want it. Anyways hope this helps. The soul is eternal it can not die. Therefore it cannot return to dust. Our bodies can though. We are nothing more than glorified mudballs hehe!!

Thanks, but can you show me the passages regarding your comment. When God speak to adam and said that adam will go back to dust, is there any passages that explain that God only specifically talking about the physical body of adam and not his soul? Ge 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. When God breathed into adam nostrils it written that "and man became a living soul" and not "a man have a living soul". Aside from that can you show me that when God speak to adam where and when God said that the physical body of adam will turn to dust and not his soul, meaning could you please show me that God promise to adam that his soul will go to heaven if he did good and will go to hell when adam will done bad? Please show me those verses. God bless, |

5 | where do people go when they die | 1 Thess 4:16 | punkiedo | 112390
This WHOLE passage and the next: Do you believe that you will inherit God's kingdom? Luke 16:19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: Luke 16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, Luke 16:21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. Luke 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. Luke 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. Luke 16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. Luke 16:26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Luke 16:27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: Luke 16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Luke 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. Luke 16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. Luke 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. If you believe you will inherit God's Kingdom then... 1 Cor 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 1 Cor 15:51 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 1 Cor 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Cor 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. Rom 2:9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; Rom 2:10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: Rom 2:11 For there is no respect of persons with God. Acts 2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. Luke 12:20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? Luke 12:21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. Luke 12:22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. Luke 12:23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. Basically with this verse I am saying look this is my opinnion if you don't agree with it, come up with more than one scripture to back you up. 2 Cor 13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established. The next thing I will tell you is this verse. Honestly I don't care how I get to heaven just that I do ok? I kind of feel like you are trying to argue, and I am not for that. So if this doesn't answer your question you need to search the word for YOURSELF 2Tim 2:15 Study to show THYSELF approved unto God. (emphasis added). 1 Cor 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 1 Cor 1:28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 1 Cor 1:29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
