Topic for discussion. Col 2:14 states that the ordinance(s)and handwriting was blotted out because it was contary to us. And God was the one who wrote the Commndments with is own finger(Exdous 31:18) then turn around and nail it to the tree?? |

Actually the text doesn't say he wiped it out because it was contrary to us. Scripture says Colossians 2:14-15 (NASB) 14 having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him. They are wiped out because Jesus triumphed over them. |
