1 | does bible teach eternal security? | Phil 1:6 | James15 | 60606
NO, the Bible does not teaches again once save always save. We are justify by faith and faith alone. See God testimony about this subject. 1 John 5: 10-12 10Anyone who believes in the Son of God has this testimony in his heart. Anyone who does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because he has not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. 11And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. Also see; Revelation 3 5He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels. |

I think you meant to say that the Bible does not teach against once saved always saved. We as christians are called to be children of the Lord and to ALWAYS love and obey. In your two verses there are words that support my beliefs the first one is anyone that does not believe and the second is he who overcomes will. These both mean that one still is saved because he either still beleives or overcame whatever obstacles that changed his path for some time period. I appreciate your comments, but lets try as His children to talk about His word and learn from it, sharing each others beliefs and thoughts in a non-judgemental manner. I have read several of your comments and appreciate many, but you never know you could be speaking to someone that needs to be filled and you could be the person that was choosen to do so. May the Lord speak through us.
