Samson Jdg.12,13,14 chapter and Samuel the prophet 1S 1:20 John the biptist(Lk.1:15-17)this is extraordinary vow. You can read the 6 chapter of Num. That was a OT vow. before Christ. Definition: a person separated; one pecurilary devoted to the service of God being seprated from all servile employments. The Nazarites were of two kinds: such as were devoted to God by their parents in their infancy, or even sometimes before they were born; and such as devoted themselves. The former were Nazarites for life; and the latter commonly bound themselves to observe the vows of the Nazarties for a limited time. The Nazarites for life were not bound to the same strictness as the others, comcering whom the laws relate. Now that Jesus came only through Him we are conscrated and separated also receive salvation and communication with the Father in heaven.
