Hi Sometimes we forget that God wants 100 percent of us and what belong to us. Did He not give us all we have, anyway? Mat 6 31"Therefore do not worry, saying, "What shall we eat?' or "What shall we drink?' or "What shall we wear?' 32For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Here, Jesus say if we worry about things we need (have money to buy it) we are like the Gentiles. Mat 19: 21, 22 21Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me." 22But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. The less we have to manage, the more time we have to serve God. Some people still believe you have to pay a type of "insurance against fire" premium on a policy that has expired. Anyway a organisation is not God, the people that need it "is", Jesus said if you do it to them you have done it to me. I thank God that I don't have to do anything to please Him, or that He will love me more. GIVE TO GOD WHAT HE LAID ON YOUR HEART. Borgain Matthew 6 1 "Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven. 2Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 3But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly. |
