1 | If I really don't have money to give. | Num 18:12 | Searcher56 | 58220 | ||
Scripture ... 1 Cor 16:2; 2 Cor 8:1-5, 9:7 ... Jericho, greetings. We are to set aside what we are to give to the Lord, based on what we have, based on the passages above. If we follow the OT principle of first fruits (Num 18:12 and elsewhere), it should be set aside first. Taxes are taken out of our income, before we take the rest home. We then should set asdie what we are going to give to the Lord, next. Do not borrow ot give to Him. I don't see it anywhere in Scripture. Hope this helps, Searcher |

I believe that its before taxes....the first fruits is before taxes..sure we have the taxes taken out that is a given...but we must base out tithe on the whole pay...the whole crop...that we bring in.. Thanks for any input on this...Selah |
