1 | How should fathers treat their children? | Eph 6:4 | thestraws | 37975
I have a friend whose fatgher has quoted a whole lot of Scriptures at him about respect for fathers. The problem is he seems to have taken the message of Scripture out of context, demanding his (adult) children obey him and respect him without giving any respect in return. I know Ephesians 6:4 covers how fathers should be to children. Are there any other Scriptures that can be presented as to how fathers/parents should treat their children?

Scripture ... Due 6:1-9 (vs 7); Pro 13:24, 22:6, 15; Eze 22:7 ... Greetings thestraws ... Here are a few passages about what parents should do. We to teach and discipline them, as well as figure out the bents, so we can train them. We are not to train our children in our own bents, or that of another child. Where Bible say the father needs to respect their child? Eze 22:7 hints the child needs to shows respect. Hope this helps, Searcher |
