Scrpiture ... Eph 6:10-18 ... Greetings Elizabeth Mann. The citizen (or slaves) of Ephesus may not of had armor, but they saw soldiers did. Tradition says that Paul wrote this chained to a soldier, so he was guided by the Holy Spirit to use the soldier as an illustration. Hope this helps, Searcher |
