1 | Defense or offense? | Eph 6:10 | EdB | 36262
Momma You will not find scripture that says we are to take the offensive. The VICTORY has been given us in Christ Jesus, all we have to do is stand and believe. To me this is a problem with spiritual warfare we forget the battle has been fought the victory decided. Faith secures it! EdB |

2 | Defense or offense? | Eph 6:10 | Mommapbs | 36271
Greetings EdB! I completely agree. Doesn't it seem that the devil would have us remain ignorant of these things?! As a side bar - how does one justify the "Crusades?" Was this any different from "jihad?" What should the response of the believer be in these times? You have reminded that we are quick to forget the real nature of the enemy. Thanks for the dialog and may God rain blessings on your day! Mommapbs |

3 | Defense or offense? | Eph 6:10 | EdB | 36276
Momma Yes your right the adversary would have us ignorant of these things. that is why he has so many false teachers out there teaching "Spiritual Warfare" where you stand around talking to Satan, instead of giving God the glory. As for the Crusades, remember they went to Israel to free that land from Islam that had invaded and seized that land killing Jew and Christians in the process. I guess we could see it as a jihad in that they were fighting a people that believed unless you were Muslim you should be dead. However their actions and what they did in the process are without excuse. They as well as the Muslims slaughtered many innocent people in the name of God. They displayed themselves as no better than Islam that kills and tries to justify it by saying they are doing so for God’s honor. Blessings to you EdB |
