1 | A well balanced church | Eph 4:4 | Noveta | 132911
I have been searching for a well balanced church for years. Right now I am attending a baptist church. I have studied many religions and I am trying to stay with a church that believes in essential Christian doctrine, like the trinity, bodily resurrection ..etc. I thought I found a church, in fact, I still think this church is a good church. But what if the pastor supports another pastor that you know does not believe in essential Christian doctrine. Should this be something that I concern myself with. No man is perfect, not even a pastor. I know the bible has rules for a church leader. Right? The pastor he is supporting is a word of faith pastor who clearly doesn't believe in the trinity. |

2 | A well balanced church | Eph 4:4 | survivor | 132912
Noveta: Do you believe there is only one Christian congregation? (Eph 4:4-6) Col 1:18 says Jesus is the head of it. His "body" is a united worldwide brotherhood and you can walk into any of it centers of worship to here the same Scriptural teachings and enjoy the same fellowship. (1 Pet 5:9) Jesus said his disciples would be recognized by the love they have among themselves. (John 13:34,35) He also said they would be unpopular and persecuted as a result of following his counsel to be no part of the world. (John 15:18-21; 17:14; James 4:4; 1 John 5:19) This should make it quite easy to locate a "balanced church." |
