1 | Catholics and Heaven??? | Eph 2:8 | Hank | 28882
HHannaJr: What you say about there being Catholics who are not saved could be said with equal authenticity of some members of other communions as well, if we are to believe some of the confessions of some church members who have admitted to having been members of this church or that one but who never really experienced regeneration. Pew warmers and "church members" are not necessarily Christians, but all Christians are members of Christ's church and ought to be examples, not only in warming the pew on the Lord's day, but in letting their light shine in a dark and fallen world. --Hank
2 | Catholics and Heaven??? | Eph 2:8 | HHannaJr | 28886
To Hank my reference to some Catholics, it is not based upon those who are just pew sitters. Yes, you are right. Every denomination has people within their church rolls that are not saved, they believe only with their heads and not in their hearts. It has been said that there is only 18 inches between heaven and hell. The same distance between your head and your heart. Jesus meant what He said that you MUST be Born Again and many refuse to believe in their heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour. This then is the crucial question, not whther they are "pew sitters". HHannaJr - Birmingham, AL |

3 | Catholics and Heaven??? | Eph 2:8 | Hank | 28887
HHannaJr: Those "pew sitters" who truly do not believe that Jesus is the Christ, their Lord and Savior -- well, the pew is not going to do much saving, is it? By the way, my dad (long deceased) was from in and around Birmingham. --Hank
