1 | Is it Scriptural to avoid offending? | Gal 5:11 | brandon.stewart | 89140
Is it biblically correct, and if not, show me Scripture, to not come right out and witness to someone due to the fact that that will offend them? Or should we offend?

I don't believe it to be an issue of Biblically correctness. I believe it would hurt your witness to someone if you offended them, it would close them off from you and anything you said afterward would fall on deaf ears. God will place people around you who are open to hear your witness. We need to be real when we talk about God and Jesus Christ. I don't think anyone would like to have something cramed down their throat. We need to be bold but not overbearing. Be confident in what you say and also be open to let them talk. It should be a discussion not a yelling match. Jim |
