1 | Will God predestinate you a mate? | 2 Cor 6:14 | stjohn | 209194
Hi Azure: Sorry to get a little off track here. How about Isaac's bride, in Gen. 24:12-15? Maybe in a roundabout way? Would you say the Lord chose Rebekah? God bless John |

Dear John, Yes, as you said in a ROUNDABOUT way :-) When I made my answer, I only considered cases with the DIRECT intervention from God. Therefore, I left out Isaac and Rebekah. Of course, we all understand that God is at all sovereign. Matthew 10:29-30 Shalom Azure |

3 | Will God predestinate you a mate? | 2 Cor 6:14 | stjohn | 209215
Dear Azure: Yes roundabout. :-) Thank you for your conformation. Graceful as always. I just thought the case of Isaac and Rebekah was a bit more direct then usual Sovereignty, as God did answer the servant's prayer, as he was still speaking to God in prayer when she came into the servants sight, though not perhaps as direct as the two examples you gave. And of course not to diminish God's sovereignty by saying 'usual'. :-) God bless John |
