1 | marrage to a non-christian? | 2 Cor 6:14 | MeTarzan | 178302
I recently had a converstaion with someone who was getting ready to marry an athiest. I told him that a believer should not marry a non-believer and he came back at me with the bible says that a Christian should not marry a non-Christian. The woman that is now an athiest was chrisend in the Catholic church. Would this still be a unholy union?

God says to be separated from the world. Do not be unequally yoked covers it all. No matter what faith you believe in, if you worship and praise God the Father of all Creation that means you. However if you don't believe in God the Creator this can not apply to you because the word of God is for those that believe in Him, His Son Jesus and the Holy Ghost. Any marriage that is not ordained by God is unholy. If you believe in God you wouldn't want to marry an atheist anyway. Does your friend believe in God?
