1 | marrage to a non-christian? | 2 Cor 6:14 | MeTarzan | 178302
I recently had a converstaion with someone who was getting ready to marry an athiest. I told him that a believer should not marry a non-believer and he came back at me with the bible says that a Christian should not marry a non-Christian. The woman that is now an athiest was chrisend in the Catholic church. Would this still be a unholy union?

Hi Tarzan, if someone is chrisend it does not make them a christian. In fact it doesn't make them anything bout a little wet. This is only a Catholic ritual of dedication by the parent. God sees the heart and a non-believer has nothing in common with a believer, Deuteronomy 22:10 says "donot yoke an donkey and and ox together" ... they will never work together .. the ox is strong, but the donkey is stubborn and takes away the ox's streghth. A non-believer and a non- christian are the same thing. However, youir freid should know the bible says "non-believer" 2corinthians 6:14-15 More people should be concerned about others like you are. Keep it up, share the truth. peace to you, Joel Way |
