Greetings JJE, You asked, "HAS THE PECCABILITY OF CHRIST EVER BEEN DISCUSSED ON THE FORUM? IF SO GIVE ME DIRECTION." Peccable is an adjective that means 'liable to sin or error.' We know from Scripture that Christ was neither liable to sin or error: 2 Cor. 5:21 "He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." 1 Peter 2:22 "He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth." Hebrews 4:15 "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin." Hebrews 7:26 "For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent, unstained, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens." 1 John 3:5 "You know that he appeared to take away sins, and in him there is no sin." Since Scripture shows that there is absolutely no question in regards to the impeccability of Christ, then there is absolutely no argument needed otherwise. Blessings to you, Makarios |
