1 | Has The NASB changed since 1990? | 2 Cor 5:16 | bchuffaker | 202049 | ||
In a previous question I had stated that in the NASB translation of 2 Corinthians 5:16 says: "Therefore from now on we recognize no man according to the flesh…" I was corrected by the reply and told that it says: “Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh;…” Has the translation changed since my Bible was published? My New American Standard Bible is a Hebrew-Greek Key Word Study Bible published with a © of 1990. It mentions that “Scripture taken from the New American Standard Bible, © 1960, 1962, 1963, 1968, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1975, 1977 by The Lockman Foundation.” I would like to know why my NASB Bible is different from yours. The difference being instead of “no man” yours says, “no one”. Do I have an older translation or is it because it has something to do with something else? Bruce |

Hello Bruce, You may have the older translation. The original NASB was completed in 1971 and the update was done in 1995. You can get info directly from our sponsor, Lockman, by clicking on the tab at the top of the page. BradK |
