I was watching a program on tv that said that a man named Phineas was guilty of murdering a inter-racial couple back in Moses time.I have read so far straight through to 1 Chronicles and I do not remember seeing that. I tried to find that for myself but I couldn't. Is this a another false thing a tv program has said about God's word? | ||||||

Hi, God's girl! There are many programs out there (Discovery, History, and other channels) that superficially study the Bible. I have watched some of them (not completely though--I get sick and tired and tired and sick of their double dealing; these people are like politicians: they turn with the wind!) only to give them a chance to come clean! Way back when PBS (channel 13--Easter US) had some interesting programs. Now a days these so called "Bible," "Jesus," or "in search of" programs are basically devil's advocates playing truth seekers: one program would pretend to discover "who was Jesus" while in a day or so "did Jesus have children with _________" or another "enquirer" issue would come up. Most of their "guests" are either confused "Christians" or out right atheists. When someone supports the Bible they are countered by two or three who, "in their wisdom," denounce the Bible. One thing those programs are good for: they get you mad enough or curious enough that you read the Bible! God Bless! Angel |
