Greetings JNtrnzic! Paul's opponents apparently carried with them letters of recommendation. These letters were not worth the paper they were written upon. Paul was simply saying that the Corinthians themselves were his 'letter of recommendation'. Their 'content' was clear and readable by everyone. Thus, they were the ultimate proof of both his ministry and his results. I hope this helps! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
