1 | Oneness and the word "person" | 2 Cor 13:14 | jcsav | 112916
Tim, I take it that you meant Comforter in place of Counselor. Matt 10:20 states:" For it is not ye that speak, but the spirit of your Father which speaketh in you." I don't think I will be using the Enchance Strongs. I don't know why they Enchanced it. I will check into it when I have the time.
2 | Whose Son is He? | 2 Cor 13:14 | Ray | 114275
Hi jcsav, I was interested in your lower case "spirit". Even the King James version has Spirit capitalized showing that the word spoke of Deity. Matthew 10:23, "But whenever they persecute you in this city, flee to the next; for truly I say to you, you shall not finish going through the cities of Israel, until the *Son of Man comes." Luke 21:14, "So make up your minds not to prepare to beforehand to defend yourselves; 15 for I will give you utterance and wisdom which none of your opponents will be able to resist or refute." Luke 21:27, "And then they will see 'the *Son of Man coming in a cloud' with power and great glory." Who is speaking in these passages and whose name is being spoken of? What do you think about the Christ? Who is the Spirit? Matthew 22:42, NKJ, "saying, "What do you think about the Christ, whose Son is He?..." From the heart, Ray |

3 | Whose Son is He? | 2 Cor 13:14 | jcsav | 114526
Ray Please give ID# of tread. The one you are attached to I did not use the word "spirit". As for the rest of your question. You ask who is speaking in the passages you stated. Jesus is (or The Father that is within him). Christ is the "Son of Man" and he is the "Son of God" he is, God manifested in flesh. |
