This is perfect. Of course, with GOD/JESUS, what isn't perfect? Anyway, I often hear, Go to church., or You should go to church. or from a youth minister-The BIBLE says you should fellowship with other believers. Is not THE HOLY SPIRIT a believer? In fact, if not for our--sent by JESUS--HOLY COMFORTER, I would not have any relationship with our only SAVIOUR and FATHER GOD. The point here is When CHRISTians are informing others, You need to get into a church, or Your are suppose to fellowship with other believers., what happens to that person's feelings if they can't get to a church? Most new SAVED babies, if you will, obtain mind-sets that if, or because, they don't go to a church, they aren't CHRISTians, or possibly--GOD won't want, or can't have a relationship with them. Where was Moses when GOD called him? Where did John--THE PREPARER FOR THE LORD, or THE BAPTIST, live? Not withstanding many...MANY others, where did our LOVING SAVIOUR, JESUS, go to fellowship.......? When someone claims, You need to join a church..., I joined THE CHURCH, and up until I started watching Charles Stanley, Joyce Meyers, Joel Olsteen, and many more, I FELLOWSHIPPED ONLY WITH A BIBLE....and WHOM I HAD HOPED I WAS TALKING TO--ALMIGHTY GOD, and HIS HOLY SON--JESUS! Shouldn't we tell anyone that 'Fellowshipping' simply means to read GOD'S WORD and you don't even HAVE TO be kneeling, JUST TALK........because JESUS said NEVER WILL I LEAVE YOU...NEVER WILL I FORSAKE YOU. In my 'church' experiences, other than my television CHURCHES mentioned, I've always felt left and/or forsaken. Fellowshipping is what 2 Cor 13:14 states. It's good to belong to a church, but if we can't get there, then we still have our "CHURCH" to go to... and in fact, we are already, or ALWAYS THERE. "...I will enter in ...NEVER will I leave..." |

Hello Waiting Fellowship is a communicative relationship between people. You can fellowship with God--that's Scriptural--but the NT is quite clear that we are to interact with one another. Consider the following: 1 Cor. 11:17-18 (ESV) But in the following instructions I do not commend you, because when you come together it is not for the better but for the worse. [18] For, in the first place, when you come together as a church, I hear that there are divisions among you. The believers at Corinth were coming together in such a poor way that Paul had to chasten them for their conduct. But at least they were coming together! All believers need the company of other believers whether it's in a church or group Bible study or one-on-one. We are called to disciple and build up one another. Steve |
