1 | Did Christ forsake Himself | 2 Cor 13:14 | jlpangilinan | 112949
jcsav, If Jesus Christ and the Father is the same Person as you believed could you please explain this verse to me. Mr 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Christ said, it His Father knew the time of His second coming, if they are the same Person how could it be? He must know that information. Please explain. Another thing. Mr 15:34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Did Christ praying to another Person or Himself? Did He forsake Himself? Please explain. God bless, |

2 | Did Christ forsake Himself | 2 Cor 13:14 | TheFinalSQL | 112988
Jesus Christ was not God Almighty until after the cross. To the cross: Philippians 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. After the cross: Philippians 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: He already had the name Jesus. The name he gave him is LORD or Jehavoh Isaiah 42:8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. Before the cross: Matthew 26:11 ...but me ye have not always. After the cross: Matthew 28:20 ... I am with you alway,... Praise the Lord! Norm |

Hello Norm, You never answered the questions posed. Instead you go off on a different (and flawed) direction. Jesus Christ was always God Almighty. Compare Isaiah 6:1-13 with John 12:37-43. You will see that the one Isaiah saw seated on the throne in glory and being declared as thrice-holy was Jesus. Steve |

4 | Did Christ forsake Himself | 2 Cor 13:14 | TheFinalSQL | 112999
I answered perfectly well. Jesus did not forsake himself because we was not the Father at that time. Galatians 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, Prior to this Jesus did not exist. Jesus was both human and divine. He can and did speak as either. Praise the Lord! Norm |

Norm, thank you for the candor.I know who you Bishop is. I don't know how else to put this, but you are a babe in Christ and you are not in a good position at this time to Teach others in this type of setting. Even if some are trinity. The statement you made that Jesus became God after the cross is not correct. He became a Quickening Spirit would be a better term to use. Ask your Pastor if it is o.k. to be a part of this forum. If he saids it is. Then so be it. I am a minister in the P.A.W. Praise the Lord!
