1 | ?Methods of NASB verse subdivisions? | 2 Cor 11:3 | kalos | 152113
Sinner: Good question! You ask: "Where does the NASB version state why it's translator parsed out some verses and subdivided them, while other verses aren't parsed out and subdivided?" Is the NASB the only translation that does this? Or are there not other versions that do the same thing? Everything in the book of Isaiah is not poetry. That which is not poetry would not be formatted the same as that which is. Grace to you, Kalos |

2 | ?Methods of NASB verse subdivisions? | 2 Cor 11:3 | sinner | 152116
I'm sure that there are many translations that do this. I read the NASB. How do the NASB translators determine what is poetry and what is not? What are the methods of the NASB translators to determine this? Have the NASB translators made their methodology clear anywhere to us? |
