God does PERMIT divorced people to remarry. SHOULD Christians remarry? It's not for me to say. :-) Do the Scriptures allow for divorce, which carries with it the right to remarry? Fact: Yes, they do. Yet if the unbelieving one leaves, let him leave; the brother or the sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us to peace. NASB 1 Corinthians 7:15 ''God's utter hatred of divorce is very clear in Scripture. 'Nonetheless, there are two extraordinary cases in which Scripture teaches that God does permit divorced people to remarry.' (See post ID# 103523) |

You say it's not for you to say, why? What if Paul thought it was not for him to say. We need to be bold and speak truth so we can come to repentance. | ||||||

"What if Paul thought it was not for him to say?" Well, what if he did? I don't deal in "What ifs". "Be bold and speak truth." I agree. That's why I presented what the Bible teaches on the subject. |
