1 | WHAT MADE LOT A RIGHTIOUS MAN? | 1 Cor 6:9 | Emmaus | 88424
Tim, "Sir, now if I am a born again son of God and I am, I have the fruits and faith to prove it, and I get drunk, lie to the IRS, have sex with my daughter, commit adultery with my neighbor, and kill her husband and then finally commit suicide." (Can these sins, indicated above, be compatible with the "fruits and faith"?) "Most religious leaders of the day would say I am lost! The bible says because of my faith I am righteous! Praise God I do not desire to go through the chastisement my Father would put me through for committing these sins, clearly they would not be without consequence." Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the immoral, nor idolater, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor theives, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor reveilers, nor robbers, will inherit the kingdom of God. And some such WERE some of you...! 1 Cor 6:9-11. (not ARE some of you) It seems to me unlikely and unscriptural that we can have it both ways; continuing to live like citizens of hell with confidence that we are citizens of heaven. That would seem to be a vain confidence indeed. We may not be save by our works but we may, it appears, be damned by them. Emmaus |

2 | WHAT MADE LOT A RIGHTIOUS MAN? | 1 Cor 6:9 | tj57h@cs.com | 88454
One account of adultery in my mind will not damn me to hell you know it and I know it. It does not make me and adulter. My identity is not the old man it is CHRIST I am a Christ person! Not an immoral, nor idolater, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkard, nor reveiler, nor robber. As David was not an adulter or murderer (He committed adultery and murdered) Samson committed suicide, Lot got drunk and had sex with his daughters, Moses murdered, and Abraham lied twice. These men were not immoral, nor idolater, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor theives, nor the greedy, nor drunkard, nor reveiler, nor robber. This was not their LIFESTYLE. (Can these sins, indicated above, be compatible with the "fruits and faith"?) Yes, because the bible says they were MEN OF FAITH Heb 11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith Those acts as we follow these men in the scriptures were not without chastisement. Sure these things will disrupt the natural outpouring of grace in our lives through fruits and gifts, but does not condemn us to hell. Your sin or sins after you became born again have not condemned YOU to hell, nor have mine! Praise God I have the leading of the Spirit and do not desire to do these things! HOW DO YOU ACCOUNT FOR HEB 11 Sir, HOW CAN THEY BE IN RIGHTSTANDING WITH GOD????? ONLY BY FAITH!!!!! NOT BY WORKS!!!!! THIS SCRIPTURE BELOW IS FUNDEMENTAL TO OUR SPIRITUAL GROWTH IF WE DO NOT BELIEVE IT OR GROWTH IS STUNTED, I GUESS THIS WOULD ACCOUNT FOR THE LACK OF POWER AND VICTORY IN THE AMERICAN ORGINAZED CHURCH: Rom 4:2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. 3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. 4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. 6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, 7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. 8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. And then preached from the pulpits in America comes WORKS!!!!! (LAW) (Following outward regulations and oridences) Gal 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. If you can come to understand these scriptures above, it explains Heb. 11 and settles the debate. With Love, Tim |

Tim, "One account of adultery in my mind will not damn me to hell you know it and I know it.It does not make me and adulter. My identity is not the old man it is CHRIST I am a Christ person! Not an immoral, nor idolater, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkard, nor reveiler, nor robber. These men were not immoral, nor idolater, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor theives, nor the greedy, nor drunkard, nor reveiler, nor robber. This was not their LIFESTYLE" Perhaps you can tell we just how much adultery or any of the other above sins is enough to be judged a "lfestyle"? Unless you can be certain of when you have crossed that line, I suggest you can not be certain if you are saved or not. Maybe there is no limit? Maybe it is impossible to know the limit? But that would make the absolute certitude of one own salvation impossible. Also, would you please confine yourself to asserting what you "know" not what you think or wish I "know." I would not want anyone else tro be confused about what I "know" based on your presumptions. It might also be wise to consider what in God's mind will condemn to hell rather that what will or will not do so in your own mind. I am very wary of the certitude of men. Emmaus |

4 | WHAT MADE LOT A RIGHTIOUS MAN? | 1 Cor 6:9 | tj57h@cs.com | 88468
THE QUESTION! WHENB WILL YOU ANDSWER THE QUESTION? WHAT MADE LOT A RIGHTIOUS MAN? The point that a truly born again person taught the ways of God would not continue in this life style. God would discipline him and he would walk in the ways of God. I believe we need to understand our frailty as humans, we make Mistakes, and we can get and be deceived. The problem I have with the WORK Base theology spoken forth in the pulpits in America, is they are quick to point out sin and condemn one to hell for doing it, not taking in consideration they are talking to a baby in the Lord. Causing them to stumble and in most cases get entangled with sin and in the end under the condemnation of going to hell. America is full of them. The fact is WE outside of Christ CANNOT live the life that Jesus, Paul or Peter did! It is only by surrendering ourselves in total submission to the Christ that is in us being led by the Spirit can we hop[e to live the Christian life! We do not live it by our works as of Self-righteousness, for by grace we are saved. We walk in the Grace and we are empowered not to sin and be obedient by the spirit. Love Tim |
