A good scripture reference is 1 Peter2:2 "As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:" 1 John 2:12-14, talks about the different "stages" in the growth of a Christian, (little children, young men, and Fathers). New Christians are newborn "babes". As you may well know, we do not feed babies meat. They are not ready for it. We feed them milk, nurture and care for them, until they reach the age where they can handle "stronger" food. I do not know, but if you are a new Christian, focus on foundational doctrine in your studies. Read the Gospel of John, then perhaps Genesis. Absorb, through the Holy Spirit, basic truths in His Word, before going on to deeper theological questions. God Bless You.. | ||||||
