On that web sight I didn't go through the whole thing but I seen a thing called Oneness. This is not part of the Pentecostal Doctrine. Oneness broke of from the Pentecostals are started a new Denomination call United Pentecostal. There pentecostals that believe speaking in tongues is evdence of being "baptized" with the Holy Spirit. I call it filling of the Holy Spirit. I will say they are wrong on that. And not all pentecostal's believe that doctrine. In Christ, Darcy |

Hello DarcyA, Thank you for your post, after reading your two posts on this subject I feel that I have to ask with what authority or experience do you say these things, and are you an expert on Pentecostal Doctrine? It would be invaluable information when one evaluates your information. I look forward to your reply. SHALOM. RJJ |

I don't have a doctrine on Petecostal Doctrine if that is what you are asking. I know about Pentecostal because it is how I was brought up both United Pentecostal and Pentecostal. Thats the authority I have on it. If I would have to label myself I would have to call myself a Pentcostal. But I don't like to label myself. I conser My self a Christian which equals Chirst I am nothing. I don't consider myself Orthdox Christian niether. I have no problems with any one who is. Unless they say those people aren't saved or those people get all their doctrines from satan ect. Baptists Prspeterians, Lutherns is just anoither part of the Body of Christ. Some people say that the gifts have ceased or that speaking in tongues us from another spirit. And then you have some like Pentecostal Holiness which say you that speaking in tongues is an absolute sign that says your filled with the Holy Spirit and you are not filled if you don't. I don't agree with anyone of these views but I think both are in the body of Christ. I'm part of the Body of Christ nothing more than a Christian was loves God. In Christ, Darcy |

Hello DarcyA, Thank you for your post which tells me that if you would explore the site you will find that the writter of the site is simply trying to find the middle road to answer this very problem. The author of the original question asks "what can we LEARN from the Pentecostles" surely the area where we stand in agreement as Pentecostals and the Bible authority for those "doctrines! will advance the Kingdom of God and not the scisms of men!
