Basically it means , Christ died for His church and when you have studied His Word and believe He is the Son of God and have Confessed, that Jesus is the Son of God,and then have been Buried in water , baptized in the name of Jesus Christ , God will add you to Christ's church not any other and if you remain faithfull to Christ's church, to God and His Word, you will on Judgement day go to Heaven to be with Christ. Acts 2:37 ¶Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. ( remission of sins) 47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. |
