1 | When will the rapture occur???? | 1 Cor 15:52 | kalos | 22374
Tim: First let me say it is obvious that you are a bright, well-read student of Scripture. I can see that you have given much thought to your understanding of the Bible and its teachings. Can I defend my viewpoint? I am confused. In my post to which you replied, I am not aware that I had stated my viewpoint. It would be necessary to define my viewpoint before defending it. I agree, opinion is not enough when we are dealing with the word of God. I, too, have had to change my thinking on many things as I have taken another look at them and re-evaluated my position. As far as showing you from Scripture, I have already submitted 27 postings regarding the Rapture question. You have only to use the Search function and look for all posts by user "kalos" containing the word "rapture". If after reading my previous posts on the subject, you still have questions that I have not already covered, I would be happy to answer them as best I can. Grace to you, kalos |

2 | When will the rapture occur???? | 1 Cor 15:52 | Tim Sheasby | 22665
Actually, this is something that is not a big problem for me. If you are a Christian it does not matter whether you die first of if the Lord comes again first. For you the result is the same - you go to your eternal reward. If you are not a Christian then you have a big problem. I knew 2 old American missionaries who worked together in the church. The one was a premillenialist the other not. Yet they did not let this interfere with what was most important to them -- preaching the gospel of Christ. Tim |

Tim: You've made another good point. I do not see any reason why Christians ought to be divided over the Rapture question, whether they are pre-trib, mid-, post or prewrath. I think we can safely say that basically evangelical Christians are in agreement as to endtime events -- the main difference being the timing of the Rapture and the sequence of events.
