"So Jesus received God's permission to die for men so that God would forgive them their sins. And Jesus died for men, for Christians and pagans. ... No one can explain this, because it is a thought of God." said Albert Schweitzer on Easter Sunday, April 20, 1930 .

In John 14:31 Jesus said "...but the world must learn that I love the Father and that I will do exactly what my Father has commanded me." Easter was a Jewish feast before Jesus died (please correct me if I’m wrong) – This was just the time when the Crucifixion and Rise of Jesus happened (this is what we celebrate during Easter), in my view God planned this perfectly to have lots of people as witness of Jesus’ sacrifice. Read the Gospels – fist 4 books of the New Testament and pray that God makes this clear to you.
