1 | Will we recognize loved ones in heaven? | 1 Cor 13:12 | Glenn | 249
Yes is the short answer. Scripture is quite clear that we will recoqnise those we knew on earth. Equally, the bible is clear that although we will know loved ones we will not pick up where we left off in this life. We are told that none will be given in marriage in heaven.

Dear wandakayet, After reading the post by Glenn that you are responding to, I think his point may have been overlooked. I believe the point he was making is that we are no longer given in marriage to each other but we are the bride and Jesus is the bridegroom. I apologize if I totally missed the point too, just trying to help. Bless you, Love Fountain Luke 20:34-36 34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: 35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: 36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
