2 | How is comunion only symbolic? | 1 Cor 11:29 | 3296 | |||
According to 1 Cor. 11:24 Jesus said, "This is my body" speaking of the bread. THis IS symbolical as in the very next verse (25) He also says, "This cup is the new covenant...." If "This is my body" means his literal body, then "This cup is the new covenant ...." must also be literally true. ANd thus, the cup becomes the new covenant! |
