2 | Is it proper to move the communion table | 1 Cor 11:20 | Preacher741 | 76426
Hi well its great to be concerned about things concerning communion but yet nothing in this passage is really dealing with the Table itself. We do not know the manner in which the Corinthians were eating the Lord's Supper in Chapter 11, it more likely have been a feast, since Paul accused them of not waiting for each other, and so several tables were present. There is not even a need for a communion table to be present its about what we remember, and the focus we have. If we don't examine ourselves we are in big trouble for we have sinned against the body and issue like this is not spoken about in scripture and the details of 1st century communion are even unclear. IT IS NOT IMPROPER TO MOVE THE TABLE.
