In youth group yesterday we studied Romans 8:1-17. When we were reading through it we had a question. If a person who has accepted Christ does not deny their sinful nature, then will that person go to heaven? Because in verse 13 it says "for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die." So our question was will this person go to heaven? | ||||||

Dear Green, Chapters six through seven of Romans have to be taken as a unit. I do not see the notion of a so-called "carnal" Christian in Scripture. Taking this verse in context, therefore, you will see that it is contrasting the dead unbeliever with the regenerate (made alive as in verse 11).
