I have heard of Pretribulation, posttribulation? If even the elect could possibly be deceived, or take mark, won't they have to endure tribulation also? Mat. 24:22-24, Rev. 13:16 | ||||||

Hello In God..., It would depend on your eschatological position, but I believe the reference to the "elect" in Matt 24 is speaking to Israel, not the Church. Paul instructs us in Rom. 5:9, that "Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him", and in 1 Thess 1:10, "...and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who rescues us from the wrath to come." (NASB) I hope this helps, BradK |
