1 | Not my will? | Rom 5:6 | Hank | 59411
Justme, and other friends of the forum: I'm ever so grateful to God for His providence during the traumatic and frightening hours of severe heart problems, to the medical staff who so ably ministered to me, and to the kindness and prayers of family and friends, including you on the forum, whose concerns and care brought hope and comfort and light to a dark hour. Recovery is gradual, and that is expected, but all in all it is coming about and the prognosis is good. And to you, justme, I extend every good wish and offer prayers for your healing. May God richly bless you and all members of this forum. --Hank

Thank you, Mark (Sir Pent) for your kind words. It's a delight to see you active once again on the forum. I note from your user profile (bio) that you and your wife have experienced the intense sorrow of losing a child; so have my wife and I, and thus we are in a position truly to empathize with you and your wife. All the best to you! --Hank
4 | Not my will? | Rom 5:6 | Sir Pent | 59511
Personal Note....................................... Dear Hank, Thanks you for the welcome back and especially for your empathy in my wife and my loss. Sadly, I had to go back and update my user profile since I was here last to reflect that we have lost one more child. We have really had to depend on the prayer and support of our relatives, friends, and church family during this time. We have both felt that God has used these tragic circumstances to draw us even closer to Himself and to each other. I would not wish this experience on anyone, but God works all things together for good. |
