Hello leonore, The law of faith is that the righteous man will live by faith apart from works. The reason it excludes boasting is that we cannot earn or work for it. We cannot say that we have done something to gain this righteousness on our own merit. It is a gift of God. Steve |

Thank you Steve! I'm a new christian and I really appreciate the people who take the time to answer the questions I have. It gives me peace to know that it is not something that we earn or work for. I'm so grateful to God for the gift that he gave us, that when he looks at us he sees us as righteous. | ||||||
