1 | Homosexual are picked on in the church? | Rom 3:23 | mark d seyler | 177302 | ||
Hi Journey me, You are completely correct in the points you make. We are all equally guilty before God, and we are all equally inelgible to condemn each other. Those who focus on a part of Scripture and ignore other parts demonstrate neither a balanced nor correct view of Scripture. Jesus, in His ministry while on the earth, did not impute people's sins against them (see 2 Cor 5). He was here to reconcile mankind to God. Now we have received that ministry of reconciliation. What can that mean but that now we are not to impute people's sins against them - as if they were even sinning against us! But it's not my law the sinner breaks, it's God's law. And so it is God the sinner answers to. Whether they be a drug addict in the street, or the sexually immoral in the pulpit. Each will answer to God for their sin. Unless, of course, they repent and believe in Jesus. I hope this helps! Love in Christ, Mark |

Thank you Mark, that's what I am saying. I'm not condoning any sin, I am asking why is homosexuality so politicized in the church. Before we pick on one, we need to evaluate all. |
