1 | pray to God or Jesus or same?? | Rom 1:8 | GeorJoy | 94026
Although I am sure some do, I wouldn't call Christ a "seal" on our prayers to God. More like a pathway. I like the postage stamp thought though, for without that stamp, the prayer is useless, and not going to get to it's destination. But what about what Jesus said in Joh 10:30 "I and my Father are one?" George |

2 | pray to God or Jesus or same?? | Rom 1:8 | Elijah | 94088
Hello George Seal probably wasn’t the best word, but it was the only thing that came to mind at the time, pathway is probably more appropriate The scripture Joh10: 30 “I and the father are one” If the father and Jesus are one body as the world is teaching, than in John 17:11 that they may be one as we are. (NKJV) would mean that we will all be one body in that system of things and if we are one body with Christ and Christ is one body with the father than we are all one body literally. Will that certainly doesn’t make any sense, :-) If that were the case than, that destroys the unity spoken in Rom 12:5, Matt 19:5 and many other scriptures. Rom 12:5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. NKJV Matt 19:5 joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh' NKJV In Rom 1:20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, We can clearly see what a father and a loyal son are here, in the old days sons were loyal to there fathers and did there fathers will, but today that loyalty is gone, but it still remains in heaven, but man in their futile thoughts (Rom 1:21) have stopped listening to God and have turned to men NKJV Rom 1:22 Professing to be wise, they became fools Hope this helps God bless John |
