I believe you've given some important information. For Paul to be so adamant in saying that nothing could separate him from the love of God, he must have been facing some serious adversity. Was he imprisoned during the time he wrote Romans, chapter 8? I was also wondering if he had friends when he wrote this chapter or was he alone in his adversity. |

Paul was in Corinth and it was his third missionary journey. He was not alone in Corinth. Corinth was under Roman rule at the time and the church in Rome was mostly gentiles. At this time is wasnt completely organized yet, mostly small groups met before buildings or locations were created so that people new christians met there. | ||||||
