1 | As Christians should we openly support? | Rom 13:1 | EdB | 243772 | ||
Justme Excellent question! Romans 13:1 (NASB) 1 Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. I believe it is our duty as Christians to participate in this country’s election process no matter how upsetting that might be. Yes it is hard to vote for people with no moral compass such as in this election, both candidates are without that moral compass. So it must become a choice over what they will allow or will not allow. We could vote a party instead of a person but fact have proven that many candidates of one political party do not always hold to that parties agenda and often do the opposite. So yes we must accept or reject each candidate on their own merit. I can not believe any true Christian can vote for a candidate that supports abortion, is willing to use tax payer money to fund abortion and openly mocks any religion that stands against abortion. Like wise I do not believe a true Christian can vote for a candidate that is pro homosexuality, insists it must be taught in our schools and again mocks any religion that stands against promoting homosexuality. I think it is ordained duty of every called man of God to proclaim this to God’s people be it from the pulpit or whatever means is open to them. As I said both candidates for current presidential election leave much to be desired. But the issue that I see goes beyond filthy speech, lying, deceit, amoral behavior which both candidates are guilty of. We must choose the one that will protect our babies from abortion, from the homosexual agenda, and from lies both these causes shower upon our nation. That to me is the line in the sand and I have never seen it move. |

We both are in total agreement. I consider this election a separation od the goats from the sheep , as it really gets down to digging deeper into what party, not the person stands closer to Biblical principals. I can reach out and help those who are caught in satans trap of LGBT or other immoral lifestyles, but as for accepting that as a law of the United States, NEVER. This is a turning point election, and Followers of Jesus have only Gods Judgment for voting otherwise. God blees you brother. justme |
