1 | Can Satan know our thoughts? | Rom 12:2 | EdB | 94378
Satan can not read minds he can determine our state of mind by our demeanor or by our anticpated reactions to various things. However our thoughts are protected from Satan with God being the only being all knowing. Satan is also a listener and he can hear what we say and even pray. He can get a lot ideas of our thoughts from that. If Satan could read minds he would have directed his demons to something other than the swines in Matthew 8:30. He had no idea that the swine would kill themselves. EdB |

2 | Can Satan know our thoughts? | Rom 12:2 | Christian24 | 94381
So by listening to our prayers and knowing how humans react, and knowing human nature. Satan can know your thougths. Many people took my first line and immediatly was ready to jump down my throat. By me saying satan knows your thoughts, doesn't mean that i worship satan or that i'm giving him power over God or close to God. Some emailed me to tell me I was wrong and giving glory and all power to satan. Many Christians need to be aware of the way satan works, but not be afraid of him. Because God has not given us a spirit of fear. . . Many got offened, which is not right. (don't take offense) Thinking that I was giving all power to satan. Which i never said and not doing. I still say that he does know your thoughts and ED gave good points on why i feel he "gets" to know them. God knows the thoughts that he thinks towards you. God knows before we know, but once we do have that thought satan can "get" to know them. Satan doesn't know it all, but he knows how to deceieve us and try to get us in tempting places. But its through the Holy Spirit that we are able to fight him off and protect yourselves. |

3 | Can Satan know our thoughts? | Rom 12:2 | EdB | 94387
Christian24 You probably should have said "Satan can determine our thoughts." By saying he can know our thoughts infers the ability to read our minds which Satan doesn't have. I think you were misunderstood but I think you reacted a little rashly also. Remember right before your first append we were fighting a battle with a person that holds doctrines that elevates Satan and themselves above God. So ayou come along and make the statement Satan know your mind and your off to battle. I hope this clears the air for all and Christian24 Let me welcome you aboard I don't recall if I have seen you name before. EdB |
