If being sanctified is being holy or set apart or being in right relationship with God. If it is not, give a better definition. But if it is what I said then am I or am I not? These scriptures seem to say that I am. 1 Peter 1:16 seems to me to a command. The process I was taught in the evangelical church (Quaker)is really the renewing of our mind so we believe God in every way. »Strong’s Help hagiazo, Greek 37, Strong’s hagiazo, hag-ee-ad'-zo; from Greek 40 (hagios); to make holy, i.e. (ceremony) purify or consecrate; (mentally) to venerate :- hallow, be holy, sanctify. Correction: In the Quaker church I was taught that santification is a process. The process I see in scripture seems to be the renewing of my mind with the outcome that I show what God's Good Acceptable Perfect will is. In other words believe God in every way, His mind becomes my mind. Can I get an Amen or some correction. | ||||||
